MSC.1/Circ.164214May2021GUIDELINES FOR SAFETY MEASURES FOR PLEASURE YACHTSOF 300 GROSS TONNAGE AND ABOVE NOT ENGAGEDIN TRADE OPERATING IN POLAR WATERS1 The Maritime Safety Committee,at its 103rd session(5 to 14 May 2021),approvedthe Guidelines for safety measures for pleasure yachts of 300 gross tonnage and above notengaged in trade operating in polar waters,as set out in the annex,prepared by the Sub-Committee on Ship Design and Construction,at its seventh session (3 to 7 February 2020).2 Member States are invited to use the annexed Guidelines and to bring them to theattention of all parties concemed.
