CCS技术通告Technical Information(2021)Technical Information No.65 Total No.571Dec.30,2021(Total 2 pages AnnexTo:Relevant shipowners,ship management companies,shipyards and designers,productmanufacturer,related departments of the Headquarters of CCS,the Society's surveyors,Plan Approval CentersNotice on MSC.1/Circ.1318/rev.1 Revised Guidelines for theMaintenance and Inspections of Fixed Carbon DioxideFire-Extinguishing Systems)Issued by IMOI.Preface1.1 The Maritime Safety Committee,at its eighty-sixth session(27 May to 5 June2009),approved Guidelines for the maintenance and inspections of fixed carbondioxide fire-extinguishing systems(MSC.1/Circ.1318).1.2 The Maritime Safety Committee,at its eighty-sixth session(5 May to 14 May2021),approved Guidelines for the maintenance and inspections of fixed carbondioxide fire-extinguishing systems (MSC.1/Circ.1318/Rev.1 and released on May25,2021.In order to address the need to clarify the hydrostatic testing regime forhigh-pressure CO2 cylinders and to align the relevant requirements in the Guidelineswith those in the Revised guidelines for the maintenance and inspection of fireprotection systems and appliances (MSC.1/Circ.1432).The text of the revisedguidelines for the maintenance and inspections of fixed carbon dioxidefire-extinguishing systems is set out in the annex.This circular supersedesMSC.1/Circ.1318 from the date of release.
