9586 DECAL,FAULT CODESMotor controller self diagnostics as transcribed from the motor controller specification sheet1 flash Personality/CRC faultThis fault is usually an internal failure of the non-volatile memory.To clear thisfault,check all adjustable personality settings and power-recycle.If fault persists orthis failure is recurrent,replace logic card.2 flashProcedure faultThis includes direction,enable switch,steer or lift selected at power on;directionor lift or steer selected without enable switch;enable switch neutral 20 secondtime-out.Recycle through neutral to clear.3 flashMotor permanently lowThis includes MOSFET short circuit.This fault shuts down all modes.Recyclethrough neutral to clear.4 flashMotor permanently high●This includes pump line contactor welded or open.This fault shuts down allmodes.Key switch recycle to clear.5 flashPower frame capacitor charge faullCheck wiring.Replace powerpak.●6 flashFaulty acceleratorThis includes the accelerator greater than 15%at power on,and wire off.Ifwire-off occurs during active function,motor speed will default to acceleratorfault creep.●7 flashBattery voltage faultThis includes battery voltage excessively high or low(set by special adjustablepersonalities)or BDI has reached cutout level.Neutral recycle to clear.8 flashThermal cutbackThis includes MOSFET temperature above 75 degrees centigrade.Self-clearing.●9 flash Pump line contactor coil is shorted or mis-wired.Power recycle to clear.10 flash Pothole deployment failedLower scissors to clear●11 flash Tilt and scissor up shutdownIn traction mode lower scissors to clear.Lift down will always be allowed.0"ES"Series Service Parts ManualmecPage 4-11September 1999
