AKPPHELP.RU PykoBOACTBo no peMoHTy AKnn05-1146DIAGNOSTICS·ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED AUTOMATICTRANSAXLE [ECT](U250E)FC2-0CHECK MODE PROCEDURE1.DTC CHECK(CHECK MODE)HINT:Hand-held tester only:Compared to the normal mode,the check mode is more sensi-tive for detecting malfunctions.Furthermore,the same diag-nostic items which are detected in the normal mode can also bedetected in the check mode.(a)Procedure for Check Mode using the hand-held tester.(1)Check the initial conditions.★Battery positive voltage 11 V or more★Throttle valve fully closedTransaxle in the P or N positionDLC3★A/C switch is off(2)Turn the ignition switch off.Hand-Held(3)Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.TesterG25136(4)Tum the ignition switch to the ON position and turnthe hand-held tester main switch on.(5)When you use hand-held tester.Select the item "DIAGNOSIS/ENHANCED OBD II/0.13 sec.0.13sec.CHECK MODE"(Check that the MIL flashes).NOTICE:ONAll DTCs and freeze frame data recorded will be erased if:1)the hand-held tester is used to change the ECM fromnormal mode to check mode or vice-versa;or 2)duringOFFcheck mode,the ignition switch is turned from the ON toBR3904ACC position or tumed OFF.(6)Start the engine(the MIL goes off after the enginestarts).(7Perform "DRIVE PATTERN"for the ECT test(Or,simulate the conditions of the malfunction de-scribed by the customer).NOTICE:Leave the ignition switch in the ON position until you havechecked the DTCs,etc.(8)After simulating malfunction conditions,use thehand-held tester diagnosis selector to check theDTCs and freeze frame data,etc.(9)When you use hand-held tester.Select the item "DIAGNOSIS/ENHANCED OBD II/DTC INFO/CURRENT CODES".(10)After checking the DTC,inspect the applicable cir-cuit.(11)See pag to confirm the details of theDTCs.2005 CAMRY REPAIR MANUAL (RM1121U)Author:Date:1331
