FT-102HF ALL MODE TRANSCEIVER14250PREFACEThe purpose of this manual is to provide a technical supplement to the Instruction Manual supplied with theFT-102 from the factory.Detailed information regarding installation,operation and alignment,as well asthe circuit description,has been provided in the Instruction Manual,and is not reprinted here.Therefore,this Technical Supplement is not intended to serve as an independent reference,but to be used in con-junction with the information provided in the Instruction Manual.Every effort has been made to include all of the modifications and updates that have been developed duringproduction of the FT-102.However,certain custom modifications that are not of general interest have notbeen included,and Yaesu reserves the right to carry out additional modifications without notifying owners.So far,the FT-102 has proven to be extremely reliable in the field,with only a few common problemshaving required modifications.These have all been incorporated into the later production lots,but detailsof the modifications are included here for those who may need to update earlier models.We trust that technically-minded owners and service technicians of the FT-102 will find this manual useful asa supplement to the FT-102 Instruction Manual.Although Yaesu can not assume liability for any damagesthat may occur because of possible errors in this Supplement or the Instruction Manual,we do invite readersto call our attention to errors or inconsistencies that we might have overlookedDownloaded byRadioAmateur.EU-i一
