I.Safety Standard for Driving and Operating of R-MS Type ReachBattery Forklift Truck1.The forklift truck driver and management personnel must remember "Safety First"and operatesafely in strict accordance with the forklift truck use and maintenance manual and driverhandbook.2.Transport of Forklift TruckPay attention to the following matters when transporting the forklift truck by a container or a car.2.1 Move the mast backward in place and tum off the power;2.2 Hoist as per the position marked on the forklift truck hoisting sign:do not hoist the mast or getoff directly from the loading platform:2.3 Fix the mast and the overhead guard by steel wire ropes during transport and wedge the frontand rear tires at the corresponding positions.3.Parking of Forklift Truck3.1 Lower the fork to the lowest ground level;3.2 Shut down the key switch and the red emergency power-off switch,set all the joysticks inneutral and pull out the main power plug;3.3 When the forklift truck is not used for a long time,please lift the tires off the ground andreplenish the storage battery once per month.4.Preparation before Use4.1 The driver must hold a driving license and must read the use and maintenance manual andrelevant accompanying documents carefully before using it,get familiar with the positions of theinstruments and the control mechanisms (Figure 1-1)and leam about the structure andperfommance of the forklift truck;
