ThermoTekVascuTherm 4 QUICK START GUIDE①Connect the output connector and2Coolant Reservoir Fill Locationthe power supply to the back of theunit.Unscrew and remove the reservoir cap and fill thereservoir to the bottom of the reservoir neck.Closethe cap tightly.Connect the power cord to the power supply input connector andReservoir cap/fill locationconnect the opposite end of the power cord to a grounded walloutlet.The unit will power-up and the Start screen will beUse Caution not to overfill the Reservoir.presented.3 Touch Screen Illuminated DisplayvascuTherm4SETUP GUIDESTART THERAPY②VascuTherm4da司④Start-up Steps1.Place unit upright on level surface 1-foot from any obstruction that could restrict airflow through the unit.2.Connect the output connector and the power supply to the back of the unit as described in above.Follow steps 3-12 on thetouch screen display for a complete setup guide prior to beginning any treatment.3.Connect the power cord to the power supply input connector and connect the opposite end of the power cord to a grounded walloutlet.The unit will power-up and the START screen will be presented.4.Apply the prescribed therapy wraps tothe indicated portions of your body as described on the wrap instructions contained in thewrap packaging.5.Unscrew and remove the reservoir cap from the top of the unit.Using the coolant bottle supplied with the therapy system,fill thereservoir to the bottom of the reservoir neck as described inabove.Close the cap tightly.6.Connect the clear and gray hoses from the umbilical hose to the therapy wrap used for treatment.On the front of the unit,connect the clear and gray hoses from the umbilical hose.If DVT compression wraps are to be used,connect the wrap connectorsto the DVT ports of the unit.7.If the device has been pre-programmed,then by selecting "STARTTHERAPY"on the Start screen as illustrated in above,the pre-programmed therapy is initiated and the Main Therapy screen will appear.8.To stop therapy,select "STOP THERAPY"on the Main Therapy screen.Please see the User Manual for additional information,indications and contraindications for use.Doc.#OP1FMVT4QS Rev.A 8/13ThermoTek,Inc.1200 Lakeside Parkway #200,Flower Mound,TX 75028 (972)874-4949 www.thermotekusa.com
