MSC.1/Circ.164124June2021GUIDELINES FOR SAFETY MEASURES FOR FISHING VESSELSOF 24 M IN LENGTH AND OVER OPERATING IN POLAR WATERS1 The Maritime Safety Committee,at its 103rd session(5 to 14 May 2021),approvedthe Guidelines for safety measures for fishing vessels of 24 m in length and over operating inpolar waters,as set out in the annex,prepared by the Sub-Committee on Ship Design andConstruction,at its seventh session (3 to 7 February 2020).2 Member States are invited to use the annexed Guidelines and to bring them to theattention of all parties concerned.
